Delta Wildlife was founded to serve the Yazoo-Mississippi Delta and adjacent Loess Bluffs of Northwest Mississippi because the region is set apart from the rest of the state by its soils, topography, habitats, land use, and hydrology.
For this reason, the organization’s by-laws restrict the organization from implementing projects outside of the service area. However, Delta Wildlife does provide technical assistance and informational resources to members who own land or reside outside of the organization’s operating area.
