Conservation Officers Assist with Flood Related Activities

JACKSON – Due to the historic flooding of the Mississippi River, Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) conservation officers have been closely coordinating with the National Guard, fire departments, and other law enforcement agencies.

In response to Executive Order 1053 issued by Gov. Haley Barbour, the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is closing all boating activity in counties affected by the recent flooding.
